Southern University Bangladesh follows non-discriminating policy for tuition and fees. International student pays the same tuition and fees like the local students. All tuition and fees are payable at the time of enrollment or due dates. All fees must be paid to the Southern authorized bank(s) or through Online Payment gateway . Personal checks/cash are not accepted. Student’s withdrawing /drop from courses are eligible for refunds in accordance with the refund policy. A late fee is assessed for students who pay their fees after the due date of payment as per academic calendar. Followings are the charges in Bangladesh currency Taka (BDT). Mode of Payment: Online Payment (Local or International Debit/Credit/Cash Card)

Programs Undergraduate Programs are designed to graduate business, legal, and technology professionals directed toward employment in related areas. A maximum of 190 semester hours and a minimum of 120 semester hours are required depending upon the academic background in English and Math of the student. All degree have unique requirements, students should know all regulations and the particular requirements for each degree. Faculty of Business and Faculty of Arts, Social Science & Law operates three semesters in an academic year: Spring, Summer, and Fall. Faculty of Science & Engineering operates its program two semesters in an academic year: Spring and Fall.

Acceptance of Transfer Credit Each degree program has a minimum academic content specified in semester credit hours. Course credits with a grade of ‘C’ or better earned at other recognized colleges or universities may be transferred into University degree programs subject to acceptance by the admissions office. Quarter-hour credits from other institutions are converted into semester-hour equivalent credits as follows: 1-semester credit equals 1.5-quarter credits. A minimum of 45 semester hours (of which at least 30 hours must be upper division courses) must be successfully completed from University to earn a Bachelor degree. Not more than twelve (12) semester-hours can be transferred from other institution to earn a Masters degree.

Co-Curricular Activities Co-curricular Activities refers to learning experiences that complement, in some way, what students are learning in Southern University. The Student Affairs(SA) emphasizes on university experience through coordination. The main objectives of Student Affairs Office are to create an environment for natural participation of students in co-curricular activities, create leaders for future, and provide opportunities for community service activities. Further SA enforce to enhance the teacher-student relationship, liaise with other universities, organizations and student bodies at national and international level.
